How to Dress for Summer in London

Today is the hottest day of the year in London. With temperatures rising up to 35 degrees in some parts of the UK, London is particularly hot, humid and feels more claustrophobic than usual. Yesterday was also warm, which is why India and I took our bikinis and went to The Hurlingham Club to sunbath and lounge around the pool with friends. We stayed until the evening and had drinks on the lawn by the bar; what felt like a summer’s evening in Spain was just a Tuesday evening in Chelsea, the perfect summer feeling you can get in London.

Today, I had errands to run, which meant travelling from one side of London to the other by public transport-my least favourite thing about London. I wore this light, breezy dress from the new collection at Zara with black accessories to keep the look city chic instead ofboho beach. My trusty black patent sandals from Reiss, are perfect for the city as they cover you from the grime and grunge of the streets of London. I’m hoping this beautiful weather and summer dressing will last in London!
